I feel slightly uncomfortable leading with awards I've been nominated for, but my grandma says I should always put my best foot forward. And Grandma, in my experience, is never wrong.

So: I'm an Emmy and WGA Award-nominated writer based in Los Angeles, by way of a small town in Maryland that most people haven't heard of. As a kid, I basically watched Pixar movies and read Spider-Man comics all day, so it tracks that I grew up to work at Pixar and write on a Spider-Man TV show.

My first TV writing job was on Disney's Channel's “Andi Mack,” where one of my episodes featured a main character coming out using the words “I’m gay” – a first in Disney Channel history. I went on to write Disney Channel's first short-form series, “Shook,” which was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Young Adult Program. And just before the pandem*c, I wrote on the famously canceled “Lizzie McGuire” reboot. Did I take to TikTok four years later to spill the tea on it? Sure did! Do I regret it? Sure don’t. (Grandma says regrets are a waste of time.)

It’s no secret that in light of the pandemic and writer’s strike, writing jobs have been hard to come by. But I’ve been fortunate to spend the last four years returning to two worlds in which I was immersed before jumping into the world of TV writing: marketing and career consulting. What at first felt like completely different universes than TV writing have quickly proven to be almost one and the same. Because at the essence of writing, marketing, and career consulting is… dramatic pause…

Storytelling!!!

Whether I’m writing an episode of TV for Disney+, strategizing how “The Masked Singer” can connect to their fans on social media, or helping an entertainment professional prep a resume for a job outside of the entertainment industry, it’s all in the spirit of helping someone tell their story.

TLDR: I’d love to help you tell your story through your content and/or your career. Can’t wait to chat!
